End-of-Life (EOL): Impinj Monza R6 RAIN RFID Tag Chips

Impinj is initiating the end-of-life (EOL) process for the Impinj Monza R6 RAIN RFID tag chip. Introduced in 2014, this legacy product is built using older semiconductor technology and does not provide the performance, features, and cost benefits of new-generation chips. We recommend transitioning to Impinj M830 or M850 tag chips to take advantage of their superior performance, features, and manufacturability. For projects that are not able to immediately transition to Impinj M800 series tag chips, the Impinj Monza R6-P tag chip remains an alternative for the foreseeable future.

The objective of this notice is to allow for your planning and the opportunity for last-time purchases of Impinj Monza R6 wafers. Please note the critical milestone dates below and take the necessary steps to meet your manufacturing needs. Inventory of Impinj Monza R6 wafers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Impinj Monza R6 orders placed during the EOL period are non-cancellable and non-refundable. Otherwise, Impinj standard sales terms will apply.
