Product Change Notification (PCN): End of Shipment for Speedway ETSI Readers and Gateways to European Union (EU) Countries

Dear Impinj Customer,

This notification is to inform you that Impinj will no longer be able to ship ETSI SKUs of
Impinj Speedway readers and gateways to countries in the European Union (EU)
starting August 1, 2025. Speedway readers and gateways are not designed to meet
new EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED) cybersecurity requirements that take effect
August 1, 2025. This notification will not impact shipment of Speedway ETSI readers
and gateways to non-EU countries certified to use the ETSI band, e.g., United Kingdom,
India, Morocco, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and others.

Inventory of Speedway ETSI readers and gateways located in the EU prior to the
deadline may continue to be sold in the EU legally after the deadline. To mitigate the
impact of this change, Impinj has established an inventory warehouse in the EU where
we will ship all inventory of Speedway ETSI readers and gateways prior to the deadline.
This will allow the continued shipment beyond August 1, subject to availability. Please
place orders as soon as possible as supply is limited.

Impinj R700 series readers with the latest reader firmware release will be compliant with
the new EU RED requirements before the August deadline. R700 series readers
provide a significant upgrade in performance, ease-of-use, and security. The Impinj
R700 Migration Guide is available to help with the Speedway-to-R700 migration.
