On January 1, 2022, Impinj will begin the End-of-Life (EOL) process for the below listed Impinj Monza RAIN RFID tag chips.
- Impinj Monza 4i (IPJ-W1535-E00)
- Impinj Monza R6-A (IPJ-W1730-K00)
- Impinj Monza R6-B (IPJ-W1731-K00)
This notification sets the official timeline for the end of production of the Impinj Monza 4i, Monza R6-A, and Monza R6-B tag chips. Please note the critical milestone dates in the table below and take the necessary steps to meet your manufacturing needs.

Due to supply constraints, there will be no last-time buy opportunity for Impinj Monza 4i. Impinj Monza 4E and Monza 4QT tag chips are drop-in compatible and are the recommended replacements for Monza 4i.
Impinj recommends that partners transition to the Impinj M700 series of RAIN RFID tag chips to replace Impinj Monza R6-A and R6-B tag chips. Impinj Monza MR-6A and MR6-B tag chip orders placed during the EOL period are non-cancelable and non-refundable. Otherwise, Impinj standard sales terms will be honored.
