Today, Impinj released version 8.0 of the Impinj R700 RAIN RFID reader firmware. This update provides enhanced enterprise security, improved ease of use for configuration of readers, and additional flexibility for connectivity to IoT platforms and cloud applications. This release also includes default behavior changes which may be breaking for your application. Default behavior changes are documented in this notice, please see the Upgrading from Impinj R700 Firmware version 7.x to version 8.0 to assist in your migration from version 7.x to version 8.0 of Impinj R700 firmware.
