This is a formal notification that Impinj has initiated the end-of-life (EOL) process for Impinj Indy RS500 RAIN RFID Reader Modules.
The objective of providing this notice is to allow for appropriate planning and the opportunity for last-time purchases.

Please note the critical milestone dates in the tables below and take the necessary steps to meet your manufacturing needs.

As we are offering an extended EOL timeline to meet your manufacturing needs, Impinj will need to make advanced product purchases. Therefore, all last-time-buy orders will be non-cancelable and non-returnable (“NCNR”) under any circumstances. Please reference Appendix A below for ordering details.
Alternative Products
Your business is very important to us and we are committed to supporting you through this transition. As an alternative to Indy RS500, a number of Impinj partners offer RAIN RFID reader modules built with the Impinj E family reader chips, which were launched in mid-2021. Your Impinj sales representative can assist in finding a partner-built product alternative to Indy RS500.

APPENDIX A
The following terms apply to all last-time-buy orders (orders placed on or after September 30, 2022) notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the applicable purchase and sale documentation:
- All last-time-buy orders for Indy RAIN RFID Reader Chips will be NCNR
- You acknowledge that Impinj will not have an alternative use or market for the NCNR products and therefore you will not be able to reduce your obligation to pay the full purchase price for last-time-buy orders
Impinj will require acknowledgment of these terms prior to processing any last-time-buy orders:
- To acknowledge these terms, please include the code “INDY_EOL” in the notes section of your purchase order
- Except as stated herein, Impinj’s standard terms and conditions will apply for all purchase orders
